About AMC 8
AMC 8 is a 25 question, 40-minute test designed to test problem solving skills in math. The material covered includes topics from a typical middle school math curriculum but is tested at a much higher level. This is an AMC 8 fundamentals course, covering the basic skills required to do well on this test. Pre-requisites include good knowledge about pre-algebra and basic geometry.
Pre-requisites
Good knowledge about pre-algebra and basic geometry is required to well in this course.
Curriculum:
Go over topics and work on problems as a class (problems increase in difficulty), 5 min break, cover
more topics, and play a Kahoot reviewing everything learned for the last 10-15 minutes.
